Sebastian Vettel favors his former biggest rival. According to the German world champion, if anyone can pull off the long-struggling Ferrari, it's Lewis Hamilton.
Despite his support for his teammate on the track, he admits that Hamilton has prevented him from flourishing at Scuderia Ferrari. But that doesn't worry Vettel:
“It’s true, I didn’t succeed because Lewis had a better package at Mercedes at the time. We’ll see how his collaboration with Ferrari went, but in any case, I support him wholeheartedly. We fought a lot against each other, over time we became good friends, and I don’t need to prove his abilities and the work he put in. He’s the most sincere driver in Formula 1 today, his results and records speak for themselves, and he always uses his influence for positive purposes, which is why it’s great that he’s still a member of the field. I really support him winning the championship, but it won’t be easy.
