This is nothing new, as the new four-time world champion has already stated on numerous forums that, as passionate and respectful as he is towards Formula 1, there is life beyond it. And he really wants to find out…
This is what the father of Dutch superstar Jos Verstappen has mentioned, revealing that he knows his son has plans to leave the F1 world championship for a trial year:
“He still has a current contract with Red Bull Racing until 2028, but after that, nothing is set in stone. We'll see if he's still interested in F1… So far, throughout his career, everyone has always told him what to do and how to do it. Now he's approaching the point where he won't listen to anyone anymore; he'll make his own decisions. One thing is certain: there is life outside of Formula 1, and that really excites Max's imagination.”

"I think it's possible that he'll take a year off, try something else, and then come back. I don't know what's going to happen yet, but one thing is certain: he's not motivated by winning seven or eight world titles, he's not chasing records, he's already largely satisfied with what he's achieved so far in Formula 1," Verstappen senior said in a rather interesting interview.
Do you think Max might ever pack his bags and leave without warning?
