Red Bull Racing 's newcomer has started well, at least as far as messaging goes: Yuki Tsunoda set the bar high by aiming for a podium finish on his home race weekend.
And the best part is that the Japanese driver believes that it wouldn't even be a great achievement, that doesn't mean he would put excessive pressure on himself:
“ I’ve already spent two days on the simulator , and what I felt there on the laps didn’t seem so terrible with the car. The difference I felt was that the front is very sensitive, but I was prepared for that, many have already told me that . But if you asked me if it was difficult to drive, I would say no , not particularly . At least on the simulator. Obviously , we will adjust my settings, I want to understand the technique well , find my setup , and gradually increase the pace from the first test session. It’s not good to raise expectations of myself too high, but I have a clear goal: I want to finish on the podium at the Japanese Grand Prix.” - said Tsunoda with astonishing audacity.
