Stella has a passionate love for the sport, which is also indicated by the fact that he enthusiastically followed Lewis Hamilton's first steps at Ferrari, despite his position as a rival team principal:
"As an outside observer, I followed the events, and I can calmly say that I think it was truly a superb debut for Lewis. I consider myself a Formula 1 fan, I worked for a long time at Scuderia Ferrari, so I can't deny it, I followed the events with excitement. It was pure sporting history, when a seven-time world champion joined the team with the greatest F1 traditions.
"It's an incredible story, but there's also another aspect for me, which Lewis and Ferrari know very well. Ultimately, what will matter is what happens on the track, and they are our opponents. We respect them, we look forward to seeing their work together, but we only want one thing: to make their lives as difficult as possible, and then beat them. There's no doubt, with the greatest respect, but we will break Ferrari's enthusiasm!" - said Andrea Stella with great respect, but even more motivation.
