At the public presentation held at London's O2 Arena, not everyone applauded Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing. Perhaps understandably, this doesn't sit well with the four-time world champion, who is reportedly considering boycotting such events in the future.
It was already clear from Verstappen's face that he wasn't exactly thrilled with the London circus, and Jos Verstappen also revealed that, as a result of the crowd's reactions, his son was disgusted by the whole thing:
"I myself would describe what happened to Red Bull Racing as shameful. This event is supposed to promote Formula 1, and one of the greatest champions of this sport is booed... Max told me that he never wants to experience this again, and if such an event takes place in the future - if it takes place in England - he will surely do without it. The truth is, I have to agree with him. He does everything for the sport, he was there to serve the spectators, and of course to present the car livery. But when you are faced with such circumstances, you ask yourself: Why did I come here? And that was the last time." - translated the dissatisfaction of his son, the father Verstappen.
