Ralf Schumacher believes what's happening at Scuderia Ferrari is simply ridiculous. One of the most prestigious teams, chasing world titles, made mistakes this weekend that would be laughable even in some lower-level teams.
As a result, both team drivers were disqualified after the Chinese Grand Prix, which Schumacher said would have serious consequences:
"To put it simply, Charles Leclerc's car was missing a component. That missing piece weighed two kilos, which should have been taken into account, and besides... At this level of engineering, it would already be appropriate to provide a safety margin. This is nothing but pure incompetence. The Lewis Hamilton case is unfortunately even worse and raises more serious questions. After Saturday's sprint race, they should have known about the floor wear. And what happened... I believe this will have serious consequences, personal consequences!"
Such a blunder will not, and cannot, be left unanswered. They had the pace to finish the weekend in an exceptional way, but what they did on Sunday was simply ridiculous, unacceptable, a job that is not up to Ferrari's standard, with such a performance, they should not want to be champions," Schumacher expressed his harsh but justified opinion.
