Anyone who's been following Lewis Hamilton's debut at Scuderia Ferrari may have noticed that the Briton is devoid of his usual idiocy this time around. Elegant, measured, almost exemplary. Like a true athlete! It's as if he's not doing it of his own free will...
Indeed, the seven-time world champion also "tried" some interesting things with the Italians, such as a deal with an unspecified clothing sponsor. Hamilton announced during last week's test that he would be the image and ambassador for the fashion brand Lululemon. However, he forgot to inform Scuderia Ferrari and the team's official clothing partner, Puma. The Germans were so angry about this move that, according to rumors, Ferrari president John Elkann had to calm things down.
Finally, with Elkann's special permission, Hamilton can collaborate with the aforementioned company, but only on the condition that he takes Puma's business interests into account in the future. The consequence of this affair is that Hamilton had to dress normally (i.e., without any provocative eccentricities) in Bahrain, and we saw him every day in the official Scuderia Ferrari outfits provided by Puma.
