There are increasing rumors that Max Verstappen will not follow in the footsteps of his fellow world champions and will retire earlier than his teammates.
Previously, Verstappen himself has often mentioned that he still has many plans outside of F1 and that he does not want to grow old in Formula 1. The Dutch world champion's retention is also not helped by the stream of demagogy launched by the FIA in 2024, according to which drivers are constantly harassed and punished for all sorts of nonsense... In one of these emblematic cases, it was precisely Max Verstappen who was attacked, something the four-time world champion driver of Red Bull Racing has not forgotten since:
"If I have to deal with this kind of thing, I feel like it will definitely have an impact on my vision for the future in Formula 1. Of course, it's very nice to win and become world champion, but apart from that, I also want to feel good about what I do. And if, because of the FIA's restrictions, I can't be myself, then I'll have to change that vision for the future..." – Verstappen recently said, who is absolutely not alone in his disastrous opinion; the entire drivers' union supports him. If you pull on the lion's mustache for too long, two things can happen... But we'll leave that to you to imagine.
