The 2025 racing season has gotten off to a mixed start for Scuderia Ferrari. The good news is that their problems are primarily setup-related rather than design flaws.
According to the renowned La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian team has been working hard over the past ten days, and this work should bear fruit. Based on the simulator work, it's already clear that they've managed to find solutions to their problems, which is due to the fact that the team has tested twenty different configurations since the Chinese Grand Prix. This has allowed them to resolve the problems observed at the beginning of the year, leading them to approach the Japanese Grand Prix with a rather unusual suspension setup.
The team is confident that their car has no design issues and hopes it can deliver on its potential this weekend. This also means the Reds will be engaged in the fight for world championship points. Development packages will then arrive, first in Bahrain, followed by a more significant innovation in Miami. With these "updates," Ferrari aims to balance the suspension mechanics and the aerodynamics of the car's rear.
