Although there are more and more young drivers in F1, there are still some established stars who still have many good years and possible results left. The sensation of the off-season concerns one of them, namely Lewis Hamilton.
Scuderia Ferrari has high expectations for this, and it's no secret. Fans and some members of the industry share the same opinion. Juan Pablo Montoya has now shared his opinion:
“I see Lewis Hamilton’s situation in exactly the same way as Fernando Alonso’s. No matter how much time passes, no matter that they’re in their forties, they still have the pace for the world title. This is also evident in the fact that with weak cars, they both regularly achieve top-10 results in qualifying. It’s worth thinking about what would happen if they had competitive technology. In Lewis’s case, that would lead to an invincibility streak, I’m sure of it.”
"If he gets a fast car, we could once again see the brilliance of the old Lewis Hamilton from a few years ago, the very one no one could beat. Not even Max Verstappen. So, the ball is now in Scuderia Ferrari's court..." - reflected Montoya.
Would Hamilton really be that good?
