According to a Red Bull Racing advisor, Lewis Hamilton is in serious trouble, and he can't even hide it anymore. The Briton's desperation is completely evident.
Helmut Marko claims that Hamilton's season is already lost, and that he is focusing all his energies on the next one:
“The truth is, I find him truly desperate. I think he's already waiting for the rule changes and his race car for 2026, hoping that Scuderia Ferrari will build a car this time that suits him much better, and with which he'll have a chance of winning his eighth world title.”
Frederic Vasseur himself does not deny that Hamilton has not been feeling his best lately, but according to the team principal, this could work in his favor:
“It's definitely difficult for him, as he only finished seventh, while Charles Leclerc finished on the podium. But I think he can take advantage of this situation, because the real problem would be for him to be satisfied. He's not; he's hungry for success, he's motivated, and he's an exceptional competitor who always wants to give his best. It's not always easy for him, so his disappointment is understandable. Now we just have to work and put everything aside, and I support him 2,000 percent to get back to his true form.”
