Although the season has not yet started, more and more voices in the industry are drawing attention to the fact that the world champion team, Red Bull Racing, has a long way to go.
Red Bull doesn't dispute this, quite the opposite. Sure, there will be nonsense to be said, like "we're falling asleep" and so on, but the truth is that the tests have revealed a characteristic. And as far as the Australian Grand Prix is concerned, it doesn't foreshadow Max Verstappen's success. Helmut Marko also acknowledged this, pointing out in an interview that while they have made progress compared to 2024, the others have done even more:
"Currently, the clear favorite is McLaren. Tests have shown that they have strengthened considerably, both over single laps and long runs, not to mention tire wear. That said, their superiority cannot be described as alarming, especially given the weather conditions in which the first few kilometers were covered.
"It would be difficult to predict the exact standings, but I think that this year four teams could compete with each other. I'm talking about the same four teams that dominated the field last year, but I just imagine a more intense battle," said Helmut Marko.
We just add that if this were to happen, it wouldn't bother us at all!
