Antonio Perez, who is fed up with the press constantly talking about his son's retirement from Formula 1, made a "discreet" allusion to the identity of Ralf Schumacher.
Schumacher did exactly that, which annoyed Perez senior.
"The media constantly said and insinuated that Checo wouldn't even show up in Mexico, that it would be his farewell race. We saw that didn't happen, so I think the least they could do is apologize for their comments. A former F1 driver was behind such conspiracy theories, even announcing that my son had been fired from Red Bull Racing. Maybe he's so interested because he's in love with him; I find it hard to think of anything else after the events. Ralf Schumacher said a lot of nonsense, while not even knowing who he really is: journalist, man, or woman? You can't believe a single word he says..." Perez's father said.
