Daniel Ricciardo is going through a very difficult time these days. The Australian is very slow behind the wheel of the otherwise very competitive Racing Bulls and has suffered a spectacular beating from Yuki Tsunoda.
What's really bothersome is that he's taking a much bigger beating than the recently ousted Nyck de Vries ever took before... It's not just the fans who are unhappy, and the professional world is reportedly starting to question Ricciardo's future. If the rumors circulating in the paddock are to be believed, Helmut Marko is already sweating over the likeable driver's "performance" and has given him an ultimatum. If he's beaten by Tsunoda for the fourth time in four years at the Japanese Grand Prix - which, admittedly, he has every chance of doing against a driver spurred on by the home crowd - then he's down, he's up. Daniel Ricciardo isn't helped by the fact that Liam Lawson, meanwhile, is also very active, clearly wanting a place for him after his excellent run in last year's race. If "all goes well", he will have it soon...
Will the Japanese Grand Prix be RICCIARDO'S SURVIVAL?
