But the last one is already a given. It's incredible to think that someone, competing on the world's fastest circuits—successfully—goes through all the feeder formula series, then becomes an F1 driver. And finally, officially gets their driver's license...
Italian Kimi, Andrea "Kimi" Antonelli, has passed his driving test in San Marino, thus allowing him to obtain his driver's license (also). He had already passed the theory test a week earlier, with only one penalty point. After that, he was able to move on to practical driving, parking, reversing, and finally driving in traffic. According to the Italian press, Antonelli spent twenty minutes under the strict gaze of the examiners, during which he made no mistakes and did not break the speed limits. Even changing from first to second gear was no problem, although he hadn't practiced this technique much before the test; it was his father, Marco Antonelli, who prepared him with the help of a FIAT minibus. It all went very well, so Kimi just has to prove himself in the rolling circus!
