It seems very likely that Formula 1 will take inspiration from Brad Pitt's film for an interesting innovation.
Anyone who has ever attended a motorsport event will have seen teams manually push cars from scrutineering and parc fermé into their pits. The same goes for pit stop drills, which usually take place on Thursday press day in F1. Here, the mechanics split into two groups: one team simulates entering the pits by pushing the car, while the other changes the wheels and nose cone. In the Brad Pitt-directed film, these scenes were filmed using a replica car equipped with specially designed electric assistance. Pitt has now stated that the teams are envious of this idea and are considering installing a battery booster specifically for these pit stop drills. This would reduce the need for human power, and due to the higher arrival speed, the simulation would also be more realistic.

An interesting idea that could allow the film crew to doubly enter the history of Formula 1 / PITTstop :) /?
