At least NOT YET. Eddie Jordan has brutally denigrated the pretender to the throne, claiming he's not ready to become a world champion yet. It would be hard to argue with that statement.
"Lando is simply not at that level yet, he's not yet ready to be a champion. Anyone who can't turn pole position into a victory shouldn't be dreaming of the title yet. He certainly has the pace, he just needs to prepare himself mentally for it.
Let's just look at the Brazilian Grand Prix and what Max Verstappen did there... Have we ever seen anything like this from Lando Norris? Nothing like this has been shown yet, ever. He needs to look in the mirror, pull himself together, and learn to become ruthless, because he isn't yet. True winners don't respect anyone, don't know jokes, or friendship, Lando needs to learn that too. This year, he failed to turn his opportunities into victories, he got stuck on the starting line, and with so many race wins, no one has ever become world champion..." - said Jordan's harsh judgment.
