The final race in Abu Dhabi is approaching, along with its very first free practice session, in which Charles Leclerc and Arthur Leclerc will participate as teammates.
Scuderia Ferrari isn't a great scriptwriter, and it's likely that this solution was imposed by necessity, as everyone has to meet the testing quota set for young drivers. However, at Scuderia, there are simply no more young drivers available, as Oliver Bearman, who is part of their team, has already used up his two replacements for the year at Haas, and Robert Shwartzman left for IndyCar in recent weeks. Thus, the possibility arose for Arthur Leclerc to receive the green light, which is also a historic fact in the sport, as it has never before been seen that brothers have made any kind of step within the same team during a race weekend.
For Arthur Leclerc, it will be all the more special because it is his first "serious" commitment to F1, and it is not just anywhere, but at Scuderia Ferrari, with none other than his brother.
Sounds exciting, we can't wait to see what the youngest of the "Leclerc" brothers will be able to do behind the wheel.
