Scuderia Ferrari can boast a quiet and uneventful day, and any true F1 fan knows how important a result that is after the first day of testing a new car.
The Bahrain test is of crucial importance to all participants, but if there's someone for whom it's even more essential, it's undoubtedly Lewis Hamilton. A good sign is that he's not the only one; Charles Leclerc also expressed very positive comments at the end of the first day:
"It's always great to finish a smooth day with a new car and not encounter any unexpected issues during your program. Of course, it's still too early to talk about performance; we still have to do a lot of analysis and process data overnight to be smarter tomorrow," said Leclerc.
“It’s exciting to test, I love this time of year. It’s the first time we can see where everyone is at, and we can also feel what lies ahead. Well, after just one lap, I can say that it was an incredible feeling to drive the SF-25. For now, we’re only testing, the focus is on collecting data, and of course, getting used to the car as best as possible. But even after just one day, we’ve already learned a lot, and I have a very good feeling!” – Hamilton rejoiced.
