Brazilian Grand Prix, sprint: Norris takes a gift victory.

Grand Prix du Brésil, sprint : Norris a remporté une victoire cadeau.

Tamás Jancsovics |

In a long and drawn-out race, Oscar Piastri gave Lando Norris an easy start-to-finish victory to help him in the points championship.

Oscar Piastri got off to a great start, easily maintaining his lead, with no changes in the leading pack. Max Verstappen tried to aggressively attack Charles Leclerc, but after several attempts, he was unsuccessful. This was not the case for Nico Hülkenberg, who made the most progress among the drivers on track, while the positions froze behind him. Sergio Perez also tried, and he had good reason to do so, as the Mexican's position at Red Bull Racing is very uncertain. In the final quarter of the race, Verstappen caught Leclerc and took third place, while McLaren was preparing for a swap. This happened on lap 22, and the race almost ended under VSC due to Hülkenberg's retirement, leaving only half a lap of racing to go. Ultimately, Lando Norris won the sprint ahead of Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen.
