Spoiler: It seems very likely that there is one. Let's not focus on the fact that with such a decision, F1 is making a mockery of itself again; let's focus on the main point.
It turns out that we're finally going to see such a silly decision, which, paradoxically, even has its advantages. The FIA recently announced on social media that it might even be possible to bring back the once immensely popular V10 engines. At first, this all seemed like a far-fetched idea, as the series is actively preparing to rely on more modern hybrid engines based on synthetic fuels, which will soon be introduced. However, Formula 1's consistency is such that yesterday they said one thing, today the opposite is true, and this is no different on the engine front. So much so that we can practically already take it for granted that when the next major rule change comes around, one of the biggest events will be the return of the V10s. In fact, Nikolas Tombazis has already confirmed this in a statement, but if anyone is unable to see beyond his words, they should wait for the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend or the announcement that follows.
