In 2025, six drivers will enter the world of speed, and this year will be their first full season in F1. The unprecedented number of rookies has even prompted F1's official channel to not miss the opportunity to showcase them!
Taking advantage of this history, Formula 1 came up with the idea of making a documentary highlighting the development of young drivers. This is how Rookies was born, offering a 50-minute glimpse into the early days of Gabriel Bortoleto, Kimi Antonelli, Isack Hadjar, Jack Doohan, and Oliver Bearman. Childhood dreams, behind-the-scenes moments, and their arrival on the threshold of F1… The film promises never-before-seen footage, enhanced by exclusive interviews with people who actively participated in the young drivers' search for career paths.
A new generation has arrived.

Bruno Michel, who was the first man in F2 and F3, shares his thoughts on the five drivers and expresses his pride in seeing these young people now all become F1 drivers. Alongside him, we can also glimpse how F2 and F3 prepare young people for their career paths. According to F1, the film has become "innovative and personal," and is already available to F1TV Access and F1TV Pro subscribers.
